The pattern that doesn’t work.
Construction businesses have been burned by the same cycle for decades. A vendor identifies a problem, proposes a platform, sells a company-wide implementation, and disappears after go-live. An eighteen-month implementation, six figures spent, the tool used at forty percent of capacity. It sits underused because it was never built around the people who were supposed to use it.
We’ve watched enough of these cycles to know the failure mode is structural, not incidental. A platform that promises to fix everything is committing the buyer to a transformation that the operation isn’t structured to absorb. Adoption fails. The tool gets blamed. The next vendor arrives with a different platform and the cycle starts over.
RAPID.
RAPID is our delivery methodology. The name reflects the intent: identify the operational pain point, build something specific around the person who feels it, and ship in weeks rather than quarters.
The logic is deliberate. Change is hard. Adoption is harder. A tool that solves one real problem for one specific person gets used. We start small, and we start where the pain is.
What that produces, in practice, is targeted tooling built for the workflow that actually generates the friction. We build the AP tool around the clerk handling invoice exceptions, not around the AP department in the abstract. We build the quoting tool around the rep assembling proposals manually, not around the sales process on the org chart. We build the purchasing dashboard around the buyer making decisions without visibility into demand trends, not around the procurement function as a category. Each tool is scoped, justified, and delivered fast.
Each tool is also built to connect. The most expensive mistake in operational tooling is building islands: an AP tool that doesn’t talk to the ERP, a sales tool that doesn’t share data with inventory. We design every tool to coexist with the broader environment: dependency-aware from day one, integrated with whatever management system is the backbone of the operation, and built to share data with the tools that come next. That’s how tooling compounds in value over time instead of accumulating as new technical debt.
How we deliver.
The work is done by people, supported by tools. That order matters. Most of what ails a construction operation can’t be automated away; it requires judgment. Knowing which dead stock is recoverable and which isn’t. Knowing when a purchasing trend is signal versus noise. The tooling we build amplifies that judgment. It doesn’t replace it.
We use AI deliberately as part of how we deliver. Anthropic’s Claude powers our reasoning, analysis, and the development work that produces tooling and integrations. Mistral runs on local infrastructure for high-volume, privacy-sensitive workloads where cloud APIs are off the table.
The infrastructure behind that delivery is ours. We operate dedicated private inference infrastructure built on NVIDIA DGX systems.
Client data does not leave that environment. It does not touch public cloud APIs. It does not train external models.
The architectural boundary is hard, and it exists because the work requires it: we handle pricing, vendor contracts, acquisition data, and customer information that has no business sitting in a third-party model’s training pipeline.
We’re explicit about all of this. It’s in our SOWs. Clients know which models are running on their engagement, what those models are being used for, and how their data is protected in the process.
What an engagement looks like.
We spend time where the work happens. We talk to the people doing it, not just the people managing it. We identify the highest-friction points: where time is being lost, where data is unreliable, where decisions are being made without the visibility that should support them. We scope something specific, justified, and deliverable in weeks. We build it through RAPID, test it against real workflows, and ship it. Then we stay. We refine the tool based on use. We identify what to build next.
We are not selling a platform. We are not promising transformation.
